Mostheuriger Eder – Moar z'Krottendorf

How lokalreport.at works

Places, events, offers and reports – a short overview of everything the site can do.

Find

  • The search on the home page finds places, events and articles. Click a #tag (e.g. #Wien) to see everything about it. Go to search →
  • The directory is split into restaurants, inns, cafés, bars, clubs, wine taverns and wine bars – with a choice of federal state or country and a map. View places →
  • On the road? “Near me” (the target symbol next to the menu) shows businesses near you – using your location or a place you enter. Near me →
  • The calendar shows gala dinners, theme evenings, food festivals, markets, cooking classes and more, month by month. Events can be added to your own calendar. Go to events →

Save and plan a trip

  • Every place, event and article has a “Save” bookmark. Empty = not saved, filled = on your saved list.
  • The saved list shows everything on a map – your excursion map: change the order, choose “Shortest order” and open the route in Google Maps for navigation. Go to saved list →
  • The saved list with map is available as a PDF to print or by e-mail – ideal to take along or pass on.
  • “Recently viewed” automatically remembers what you looked at. Both stay in your browser only – no login, no cookie. Recently viewed →

Take part

  • Do you run a restaurant, inn, café, bar or wine tavern? List your place free of charge – with description, logo and opening times. List your business →
  • An event is missing or a detail is out of date? Write to us – we are happy to add and correct. Send a request →
  • The newsletter brings new events, offers and reports by e-mail; the monthly magazine sums everything up. Subscribe →

Book and order

  • At many restaurants you can book a table right on their page: choose party size and day, tap a free time. Confirmation and cancellation link arrive by e-mail. Restaurants with online booking →
  • Some restaurants accept orders for pickup or delivery – add dishes from the menu to your basket; you pay at the restaurant or on delivery. Regulars can apply for a regular customer code.
  • You run a restaurant? With an account you maintain your listing and accept bookings and orders. For businesses →

Read and discover

  • Reports, news and reviews of festivals – all under “News & reports”. Go to articles →
  • Vouchers, gala dinners and packages from the restaurants – expired offers disappear automatically. Go to offers →
  • “Cooking on TV” lists cooking shows for the next two weeks, the “Cooking guide” explains the seasonal calendar, classics and kitchen terms. Cooking on TV →

Adjust the display

  • At the very top you choose language (German/English), font size (75 / 100 / 125 %) and dark mode. Lists can be shown as tiles, list or compact rows.
